Safety · Supported regulations

Eight rulesets ready to switch on. And room for yours.

Every framework we support is written out as discrete, testable rules — with real examples and an explicit list of what is not a violation — and kept current as the law moves. Anything we don't already cover becomes a ruleset the same way.

Today

The rules moved. Your content didn't.

EmpCo, accessibility law, the EU AI Act and sector rules like KOAG/KAG are all landing at once — and each one lands on content that was written before it existed.

Guidance that lives in a PDF

Most compliance knowledge sits in a memo on a shared drive. It can't be applied to forty thousand pages, and nobody can tell you which pages it was applied to.

Different rules per market

The same product page is governed differently in Amsterdam, Madrid and Copenhagen. Interpreting that per market, per writer, produces inconsistency by design.

Rules that change under you

A directive gets clarified, a supervisor publishes guidance, a deadline moves — and everything you already signed off quietly needs looking at again.

A rulebook that machines can actually enforce.

Written as testable rules

Each framework becomes discrete rules with real examples — and an explicit list of what is not a violation, which is what keeps findings trustworthy instead of noisy.

Maintained as the law moves

When a rule changes, the ruleset is updated centrally and your whole estate is re-audited against the new version. A rule change becomes a re-run, not a project.

Your policies count too

Your brand book, partner agreement, internal guidelines and any sector code can be turned into rulesets that run in the same pass as the regulatory ones.

The engine

From legal text to enforced rule.

01
Pick

Switch on the maintained rulesets that apply to you, per market and per channel. Nothing has to be written from scratch to run a first audit.

02
Extend

Add your own: brand book, tone of voice, partner terms, internal policy. Your compliance team writes the norm once, in its own words, including the edge cases.

03
Re-run

Every asset is checked against the current version of every applicable ruleset, and re-checked whenever the content or the rule changes.

A memo versus a ruleset

Before — do it yourself

A PDF

of guidelines, in a shared drive

Read by whoever remembers it exists, applied inconsistently, impossible to evidence afterwards.

After — with Typetone

A ruleset

enforced on every asset, every market

Versioned, applied automatically, and logged as evidence on every single check.

Rulesets

Rulesets available today

Each has its own page explaining what it covers and how Typetone checks it. Frameworks like the European Accessibility Act and the EU AI Act are handled through the accessibility and governance rulesets.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What if our regulation isn't listed?

It becomes a ruleset. Any directive, sector code, supervisory guidance or internal policy can be written out as discrete, testable rules — the eight listed here are simply the ones already built and maintained.

Who keeps the rulesets up to date?

We do. When a framework changes, the ruleset is updated centrally and your estate is re-audited against the new version, so you see the new exposure straight away instead of at the next review cycle.

Is this legal advice?

No. Typetone applies the rules your legal or compliance team agrees to, and surfaces what needs judgment. Interpretation of the law stays with your own advisors — what changes is that they see everything, not a sample.

Do rulesets work in every language?

Yes. The same ruleset applies across 50+ languages, so a Danish product page is measured against the same standard as the English one rather than against a local interpretation.

Can different rulesets apply to different parts of the estate?

Yes. Rulesets are scoped by market, language, channel and content type, so financial promotions, product pages and social posts are each held to what actually applies to them.
