The Knowledge Base is Typetone’s memory for the facts about your business — your products, features, terminology and any reference material content needs to be accurate. It’s what stops audits and AI content from getting the details wrong.
What to add
- Product and feature facts — what things are, what they do, what’s true today.
- Terminology — the exact names and wording you use (and the ones you don’t).
- Reference material — anything content should be consistent with.
Why it matters
Tone and rules aren’t enough on their own — content also has to be correct. With a Knowledge Base in place:
- Audits can flag stale or inaccurate claims — an old price, a discontinued feature, the wrong product name.
- AI Agents and Content Management draw on real facts, so drafts get the details right the first time.
Keeping it fresh
When your products or terminology change, update the Knowledge Base — and every future check and draft uses the new facts. Together with the Brand hub (tone) and Policy (rules), it completes the picture of what Typetone knows about you.
