An organization is your team’s shared workspace in Typetone — your brand rules, policies, assets and audits all live inside it. Here’s how to join one.
Joining with an invite
Most people join through an invite from a teammate:
- An admin on your team invites your email address from Settings → Team.
- You receive an email invitation. Open it and click the link to accept.
- Sign in (or create your account) and you’ll land directly in the shared organization.
If you sign up from scratch without using the invite link, you may end up in your own empty workspace. If that happens, just ask a teammate to resend the invite and accept it — then you’ll see the shared content.
Switching between workspaces
If you belong to more than one organization, use the workspace switcher (top of the sidebar) to move between them. Each one keeps its own brand rules, assets and billing separate.
Roles and access
Teams can give members different levels of access — for example, admins who manage settings, billing and who’s on the team, and members who work on content and reviews day to day. If you can’t see a setting or an area you expect, ask an admin to check your role.
Inviting others
Once you’re in, admins can grow the team from Settings → Team by entering colleagues’ email addresses. See Managing your account and team for more.
