Welcome to Typetone. This guide walks you through creating your account and getting to your first result: an audit that shows how on-brand and compliant your content is.
1. Create your account
Head to app.typetone.ai/signup and sign up with your work email. If someone has already invited you to a team, open that invite instead so you land straight in your organization — see How to join an organization.
2. Set up your brand
Typetone checks your content against your rules, so the first step is telling it what “on-brand” and “compliant” mean for you:
- Add your brand guidelines and tone of voice in the Brand hub.
- Add the rules and regulations you need to follow in Policy.
- Drop in any product facts, terminology or reference material in the Knowledge Base.
The more you add here, the sharper every audit becomes.
3. Bring in your content
Connect a source — your website, CMS, ad account, DAM or drive — or upload assets directly into the Asset Vault. Typetone works across pages, ads, emails, documents and social posts.
4. Run your first audit
Start an audit and Typetone scores each asset against your brand and compliance rules, then flags exactly where something drifted — off-brand wording, risky or stale claims, or visual issues. Open any flagged asset to see the specific problem and a suggested fix.
5. Review, fix and publish
Work through the flagged items, approve the fixes, and publish with confidence. From here you can invite the rest of your team and set up continuous monitoring so new content stays in line automatically.
