An audit is Typetone checking your content against your rules and reporting back exactly where it drifted. Instead of reviewing assets one by one, you run an audit across many at once and get a ranked list of what needs fixing.
Running an audit
Point an audit at a set of assets — a campaign, a channel, or your whole library — and Typetone scores each one against:
- Your brand guidelines and tone of voice (from the Brand hub).
- The rules and regulations you need to follow (from Policy).
Audits run as batches, so large sets are handled in one pass.
Reading the results
Each audit run gives you:
- Violation KPIs — how many issues were found and how serious they are.
- Severity badges on each violation, so the riskiest problems rise to the top.
- A clear status for the run itself, so you know when it’s finished.
From there you can open any flagged asset to see the specific issue and fix it. For a bird’s-eye view across all your audits over time, see the Compliance Dashboard.
Keeping it continuous
Audits aren’t only a one-off. Run them on a schedule or as new content comes in, so problems get caught early instead of after publishing.
