Review an audit
Work through the violations of a compliance audit from Claude or ChatGPT, and record every decision under your own name.
Compliance reviewers often spend hours in the audit screen, one violation at a time. With the MCP server you can do the same review in a conversation: the assistant shows each violation, you decide, and it records the decision in Typetone.

Decisions you can record

| Dismiss | Not a real violation. A reason is required, and it’s saved with the decision. |
| Elevated risk | A real violation with elevated risk. |
| Urgent violation | A real violation that needs action now. |
| Mark fixed | The fix has been checked and the violation is resolved. |
| Reopen | Back to undecided. Clears an earlier decision. |
Want to add context to a decision, such as “legal must see this”? Ask the assistant to add a comment. Only a dismissal takes a reason.
The same finding on several pages
When the same issue appears on several assets, the violations share a group_id. Ask the assistant to “apply this to all pages with the same finding” and it records the decision for the whole group at once.
Rules that apply
Decisions follow the same rules as in the Typetone app:
- They appear right away in the audit’s review mode, with your name in the activity trail.
- A violation assigned to a colleague can only be dismissed or marked fixed by that colleague, the person who assigned it, or an admin.
- Mentions in a comment don’t assign the violation or notify anyone. Assign violations in the app.
Keep the human in the loop
The review tools tell the assistant to record only decisions you made or confirmed. You can check and change every decision in the app.
