The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools. Typetone runs an MCP server. Connect it once, and your assistant can check drafts against your rules, run audits and help you review violations.

What the assistant can do
- Check content: “Check this LinkedIn post against our rules and fix what’s wrong.”
- Write on-brand: “Rewrite this email in our professional brand voice.”
- Run audits: “Audit our three newest savings pages against the marketing compliance ruleset.”
- Review audits: “Walk me through the undecided violations of Monday’s audit.”

Safe by design
- The assistant only sees the workspace you signed in to.
- Every decision it records is saved under your name and shows up in the audit’s activity trail in the app, where you can change it.
- The review tools tell the assistant to record only decisions you made or confirmed.
- Tools that use credits are marked, and large audits ask for confirmation first.
